Navajo Storm Pattern Weaving is a regional pattern that is predominantly woven in a reservation located between Tonalea and Tuba city. It’s widely said that the geometric elements of this style is symbolic. The box in the middle is meant to represent the spiritual middle of the Navajo universe. The four zig zags radiating from the center represent the four mountains bordering that universe. It’s intricate pattern has made it popular amongst collectors.
