Two Grey Hills Navajo Rug

Early weavers in the 1900’s we’re known for imitating the landscapes around them in their weaving patterns. Two Grey Hills is an area located on the east side of Chuska Mountain, and the geometric designs reflect the landscape. The colors were all obtained from combing the natural colors of sheep, with the exception of Aniline.
