Large Ganado Rug with Double Diamond
The Ganado Red style of weaving was established before 1900 by Don Lorenzo Hubbell, a famous trader in the region. The original designs incorporated traditional Navajo design elements with the more recognizable oriental designs. The combination was a financial success in the Eastern United States for Hubbell.
