Collection: Ganado

The Ganado Red style of weaving was established before 1900 by Don Lorenzo Hubbell, a famous trader in the region. The original designs incorporated traditional Navajo design elements with the more recognizable Asian design elements of the time. The combination was a financial success in the Eastern United States for Hubbell. The Ganado rug remains the most recognizable design of Navajo rugs.
